Implementation

Implementation

The implementation process of the Elements™ solution is a critical stage in the success of the solution by all users within the school district.  All aspects of the implementation process are carried out and documented through the use of Thinkgate’s Elements™ Strategic Plan (ESP).  This process has been utilized with all existing Thinkgate clients and is initiated and maintained by an Education Consultant within the company.  All Thinkgate education consultants have prior educational experience within the public education system as both teachers and administrators.  The implementation consists of both internal and external processes which are listed below.

  • Planning is a vital step in formulating an implementation plan.  This plan should include: collecting client information, scheduling planning sessions and checkpoints, developing a detailed implementation and training plan, and defining the success criteria of the implementation.
  • Software installation and setup: The Elements™ solution is a web-based product requiring no software installation on the part of the school district.  Thinkgate will set up and configure the software to meet the specifications outlined by the client in the planning stages of the implementation.  This process is not complete until all data has been imported and the system is thoroughly tested.
  • Once the setup is complete, training is conducted on functionality and self-paced tutorials.

After the Elements™ solution is in operation within the district, the implementation is evaluated against the previously established success criteria.  At this point the district is fully supported by the Thinkgate support desk, which consistently receives high ratings for client satisfaction.
